"They sent me a written offer in under three hours. No haggling at pickup. They handed me a check and a coffee."
Hand-picked European motorcars. Mechanically obsessed. Sold without games. Family-owned in the Pacific Northwest for 34 years and counting.
Updated daily. Eight just landed this week.
Freeman Motor Company opened in 1990 with six cars on a Salem lot and one belief: a pre-owned car should be the best version of itself before it ever shows up on a showroom floor. Three decades later, that's still the only standard.
Founder Eric Freeman built the company on hand-picked European inventory and honest paperwork — no games, no foot-dragging, no commission theater. Marshall Zoerner joined in 2000 washing cars after school, became partner in 2015, and runs the day-to-day. Eric still walks the lot every morning.
Tell us about your car. We'll respond inside 24 hours with a written offer based on actual market conditions, not algorithms. Trade it in or sell it outright. Either way, you walk away with a real number, not a number that adjusts when you show up.
No spam. No phone calls. Just an answer.

In 2000, Marshall Zoerner walked in and asked for a job washing cars. He's been here ever since — partner since 2015. Together they grew Freeman from a single Salem lot into two indoor showrooms across Portland and Salem, without losing the family in family-owned.
